A warm welcome in Broxbourne

My stay at Kingsway Bed & Breakfast was nothing short of delightful. The moment I arrived, Janice and Donald made me feel like part of their family. The breakfast, featuring fresh filter coffee, was a wonderful way to start the day. The historic charm of the century-old property added a unique character, and cleanliness was impeccable. the close proximity to shops and serene river walks was a pleasant bonus during my evening strolls.

There were a couple of minor drawbacks. The shared bathroom required some patience during busy mornings, and I noticed the exterior lighting was inadequate for finding the entrance at night. The single-glazed windows, while adding to the charm, made the nights a tad chilly and let in some road noise. perhaps an upgrade could be beneficial for winter stays.

The room was noisy, but the bed was really comfy.

The location is fantastic, just a ten-minute walk from the station with easy car parking and lovely river walks nearby. the bathroom on my floor seemed a bit outdated, and sharing it meant in the morning I had to wait. The lighting could use improvement. finding the entrance at night was tricky due to dim lights. Despite these minor inconveniences, I found this place to have a lovely homely feel, and I would definitely consider staying here again.

We had a lovely time at this charming place with our two kids. Janice and Donald were fantastic hosts, making sure we felt at home. The nearby Hertfordshire Golf & Country Club was a great spot for the adults while the kids enjoyed some outdoor fun.

My children wanted more variety at breakfast.

the breakfast was realy good and janice was super friendly. the place was clean, made me feel safe. it's got a nice location, close to the shops and just a short walk from the station. parking was easy if ur coming by car, and i loved the river walk nearby. overall, a comfy place to stay for sure.

Decent stay with nice parking

Had a fun time chillin' in this spot. The parking was a breeze after driving around. Super close to shops and the train station, which was a lifesaver. Just a heads up, it took a while to find the place since there’s no sign outside. Could use some sprucing up inside and out, tho.
